The Clownfish and His Exorcist Neighbor

As a clownfish who had only just learned to take human form, Yin Wuxing had poor cultivation and an awful memory. To live in human society in peace, he chose to stay cooped up at home and avoid socializing with humans. But there was one exception: his good neighbor next door. His neighbor, Zhu Miao, was a very handsome human man. Though impatient and short-tempered, he never minded Yin Wuxing's terrible memory, and even shared the meals he cooked with him. Yin Wuxing thought he was the best human in the world, and decided to be his good neighbor for the rest of their lives. But one night, Yin Wuxing saw his good neighbor, brimming with murderous intent and wearing an expressionless face, use demon-slaying magic to kill a great demon with a thousand years of cultivation. He was so frightened his legs went weak. Why was his good neighbor a terrifying demon hunter? When Zhu Miao realized his clownfish neighbor had discovered his identity as a demon hunter, he knew trouble was coming. But the next morning, after he had made breakfast, there was a knock at his door, just as usual. He opened it, and Yin Wuxing, who had fled in terror the night before, poked his head around the door with a cheerful smile. "Hi! Your place smells so good. Can we have breakfast together?" Zhu Miao: "..." He'd almost forgotten. His neighbor was a fish with a truly terrible memory. Theme: Having a bad memory isn't necessarily a bad thing.
