[The Lord of the Rings] After the Long-Footed One in Rivendell

Diamond + Ring + City Personification, with Rivendell personified as the main character

One day in the year 109 of the Third Age, the newlywed Lord and Lady of Rivendell embraced beside a stream.

Then they got a child: a naked little elf.

Elrond: !!!!

Celebrían: !!!!

Rivendell: Aaaaaah!

That year, countless horses carrying messages between Rivendell and Lothlorien died of exhaustion.

Celebrían had a serious discussion with her parents about how little elves were made.

Elrond turned the library upside down.

And at last, they confirmed that the elf baby was the embodiment of Rivendell.

Thank goodness! Kisses and hugs don't make little elves!
