I Maxed Out My Beauty from the Start

Game streamer Shi Xuechuan reviews a massive palace-intrigue game, with beautiful art, a huge cast of character portraits, an extra-long main storyline, countless side quests, and a wealth of romanceable characters.

The first time he enters the game, Shi Xuechuan puts all his starting skill points into beauty.

Shi Xuechuan: Guys, what kind of game are we playing? A palace-intrigue game! What do you need in a palace-intrigue game if not beauty?

Viewers: ??? Are you serious?

Soon after entering the game, Shi Xuechuan is framed because of his beauty and sent to the Palace Bureau to be punished.

Shi Xuechuan, lowborn and frail, with nothing but his looks: ???

Viewers: Streamer, what are you doing? Beauty alone is a death sentence wherever you go! Your family background is no good, and you're frail. At this rate, you'll never survive long enough to leave the Palace Bureau and meet the emperor!

At that moment, Shi Xuechuan, who has already transmigrated into the game: ??? I didn't save! Give me one more chance to say something tactful!

Outside the Palace Bureau, a eunuch holds out a cup of poisoned wine and says, "Commoner Shi, Her Majesty has ordered me to send you on your way."

Shi Xuechuan stares silently at the eunuch before him. Fortunately, he saved his game. So he keeps reloading until he glitches the game, receiving cup after cup of poisoned wine, until the person buying it owes the game more than ten thousand taels. Only then does the eunuch carrying the wine stop appearing before him.

At last, Shi Xuechuan has time to check his game system. If he completes the main quest, he can return to his own world. Now, please choose your romance target.

The emperor, the crown prince, the Imperial Preceptor, the general, the chancellor, the marquis, the assassin, the imperial physician, the tutor, the wandering martial artist, the foreign prince... and many more.

Shi Xuechuan: I understand all that, but why is there a retired emperor here?

System: Congratulations! You have bound yourself to your romance target: the retired emperor!

Shi Xuechuan: Huh?

Theme: Be a good person and stay true to your original intentions.
