The Hong Kong Entertainment Mogul of the 1970s

Lian Feng transmigrated to the 1970s.

Good news: She had become the eldest daughter of a wealthy family in Hong Kong.

Bad news: The family was huge, and her branch had only been given an entertainment company on the verge of bankruptcy, with a roster of has-been artists.

Everyone thought Lian Feng's branch was bound to fall into decline.

As someone known before transmigrating as the "godmother of mainland China's talent-show scene," Lian Feng had this to say:

Give me a fulcrum, and I'll move all of Hong Kong's entertainment industry!

In next to no time, Lian Feng created one ratings miracle after another, blazing a trail wherever she went.

She polished stars, and every one she backed became a hit.

She made variety shows, and every one became a sensation.

She produced TV dramas and films, setting off a nationwide craze for watching them.

She launched talent competitions and drew the entire city into the festivities.

She never appeared in front of the cameras, but everyone knew she was the real power behind the scenes, the uncrowned queen of Hong Kong's entertainment industry.

When later generations spoke of Lian Feng, they inevitably mentioned her many titles:

"Star Maker"

"Entertainment Empress"

"Variety Show Pioneer"

"Entertainment Industry Tycoon"

"Founder of China's Idol Industry"

"Creator of the Chinese-Language Screen Empire"

Theme: Creating a legend in Hong Kong entertainment.
