Rekindled romance

Female lead: mining surveyor x male lead: industry elite

Rough-and-tumble girl x aloof beauty

[1]

They were once a loving couple at university.

The sudden death of her roommate shattered Ming Qingchi's once-peaceful life.

Faced with death, their young love was forced to rot as well.

They broke up, she took a leave of absence, and then she went on exchange.

She left that painful place behind for good.

[2]

Ming Qingchi never imagined that their reunion would be so humiliating.

Standing behind the counter, her face showed the exhaustion of a long day's work as she looked at Yu Yi in his suit and tie.

A few seconds later, she lowered her eyes. "Twenty Australian dollars."

Yu Yi pinned down the hand packing the bottles of liquor. His voice trembled like rippling water. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, long time no see."

[3]

Ming Qingchi never intended to get back together.

Simply staying alive was a torment. She had no time to think about a luxury like love.

But Yu Yi still forced his way into her world, tearing through all her gloom, stubbornly and resolutely shining his light on her.

"Do you have some kind of white-knight complex?"

"No." A tender kiss landed on Ming Qingchi's breath. "It's because I love you."

P.S. I hope this turns out to be a healing story.
