What's the most important attribute in an esports strategy game?
When it comes time to distribute fixed attribute points, the player doesn't hesitate: hand speed! Game sense! Max them all out!
The player, blessed with incredible talent, wins three championships and transfers teams three times along the way. Haters often mock her for having a piecemeal three-peat.
Is it really okay to drive luck and emotional intelligence into the negatives just to boost hand speed?
The player is cold and ruthless: Only losers need that sort of thing to save face.
In three years, the player survives several car accidents, mushroom poisoning, an accidental hand injury, and an attack by haters. She earns the titles of League's Famous Jinx and Not-Too-Bright Tragic Beauty.
When choosing a starting club, should you join a powerhouse or lead a weak team to an underdog victory?
The player picks last season's champions: right under the emperor's nose, with a captain called the Emperor of Tiny Herb. The family must have a throne to inherit.
Amid the brutal, bloody power struggles of the champion team, the player stands out among nine princes vying for the throne and becomes the most extraordinary member of the seventh class, a group already full of eccentrics.
When choosing your starting account card, do you pick a powerful class or bravely try an underpowered class that doesn't suit you?
The player gives a wicked grin: Of course I'll charge into the underpowered class! Summoners have never had a true god, but the new god is here. Get down on your knees and shout, "Super big cup," mortals!
The player swings a staff and fights Battle Mages at close range, with no sense of teamwork or discipline. After being ambushed, she's banished to the cold palace and becomes a veteran water-cooler attendant.
That's how the struggle for the throne goes.
Having suffered for it, the player thinks it's all because the Emperor doesn't understand her. Rather than wait to inherit the throne, why not create one herself? Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west: Charge, Kuang Batian! You're destined to peak at your debut!
The player climbs out of the underpowered class, picks the Berserker best suited to her, and storms into the captain's office of the enemy team, Hundred Blossoms. "You can trust me with Fallen Blossom Wolf Ruse and the throne! Zhang Jiale! Your Berserker is here!"
Zhang Jiale: "...?"
The new vice-captain's Berserker can make even the team's eccentrics look normal. But she gets into a car accident right after her debut, and Hundred Blossoms' captain swings from joy to despair and shrieks: "Don't be that kind of berserker!!!"
Many years later, Zhang Jiale and Wang Jiexi, with three championships and two runner-up finishes apiece, run into each other at a gala.
A reporter asks, "Which player influenced Lu Zhao the most?" The single dad from Tiny Herb and the widowed mom from Hundred Blossoms fall silent for two seconds, then generously defer to each other:
"She came up through Tiny Herb's youth training program."
"She made her debut with Hundred Blossoms."
"You trained her!"
"She's your Berserker."
"Damn it!"
[Reading Notes]
1. This is a player-focused story. The player is a chuunibyou, chaotic, and does whatever she wants. Her mysterious ideas don't represent the author's personal views. Feel free to criticize the player, but don't attack the author.
2. The player's transfers are entirely up to her. Her three championships in years seven, eight, and nine are with Hundred Blossoms, Samsara, and Tyranny, respectively. Please don't read if you dislike that! (The Glory championships belong to the original work; the fictional nonsense and fun belong to this story.)
3. The player is beloved by many, with plenty of one-sided crushes. The plot is goofy and delightfully cheesy. The original characters (except people like Liu Hao) and clubs are not portrayed negatively. There are tons of original additions, so beware of OOC.
