The Sky Screen Spoils the Future: My Feudal Prince Rises in Rebellion Again

Zhu Chen transmigrates as the youngest son of a regional prince, far away on the frontier. He has no real power, but enjoys a comfortable life. He thought he could simply lie flat, but then he suddenly realizes this is the end of the Ming dynasty. The West is undergoing the Renaissance and the Age of Exploration, and to the north is a foreign people with shaved foreheads and braided hair! They're one of the reasons the imperial court's finances are collapsing.

Zhu Chen: How am I supposed to lie flat here?

Faced with a rotten court that refuses to listen to reason, Ye Ning advises his father, "Father, let's follow the example of Emperor Chengzu and launch a Jingnan campaign!"

His good-for-nothing father, who has been lying flat for fifty years, stares in shock. I can't believe I have such an ambitious son!

Zhu Chen bides his time, finally builds up his army, and is ready to rally the troops and storm the imperial capital when the sky screen appears.

[Next, let's dig into the most controversial emperor in history, Zhu Chen. Whether it's a ranking of tyrants or a ranking of emperors unrivaled through the ages, he makes the top three in both.]

[Why is he considered one of the top three tyrants? Because he was a regional prince who rebelled and stormed the imperial capital. Then he killed members of the imperial clan, court officials, merchants, Confucian scholars, and foreigners. There was no one he wouldn't kill.]

[In any other era, a "tyrant" like that would have brought down his country. But Zhu Chen's killing transformed the entire Great Sheng, eliminated a thousand-year-old flaw in Chinese civilization, and made China a leader of a new age once more.]

Zhu Chen was delighted at first. He'd succeeded!

But wait, I haven't even raised my troops yet, and you've already spoiled everything for me. Can I still pull it off?!
