Also known as The Wayne Heir's Guide to Winning Himself Over
(The title may change again.)
On Charisse's first day in Gotham, she took a liking to a flashy, handsome young master... and his money.
Her family had once been pretty ordinary. It was only thanks to her lucky dad winning the lottery that they got to live in luxury.
But the prize money would run out someday, and Charisse didn't want to wait around for that day.
While she was fretting over how to get close to the young Master Wayne, he inexplicably confessed to her.
She inexplicably said yes.
Her friend told her that rich kids' feelings came and went quickly, and they were still young. She was worried he'd dump her one day.
Charisse believed her completely. To prevent that from happening, she planned to be a good girlfriend for the time being, skim a little money from him, and break up with him first once he got tired of her.
So she waited and waited... How had Wayne still not gotten tired of her?
-
Two months after Charisse and Bruce got together, someone tried to remind young Master Bruce: "That young lady doesn't love you at all. She's after your money!"
Young Bruce angrily slammed the table. "That's nonsense! She really likes me! What's money got to do with it? You're just jealous I have such a cute girlfriend!"
When Charisse heard about it, she said, "...There's more to it than that. I like his face too."
