The Travels of Mo: A Summer on the Scroll

While spending the summer at her grandfather's home in the countryside, Liu Yumo meets Shishi, the book-loving girl next door.

In her grandfather's study, an old album of paintings sucks the two of them into a world inside the pictures.

The two girls ride a flying scroll, traveling through ancient paintings:

The blue-green mountains and rivers of A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains,

The Rainbow Bridge over the Bian River in Along the River During the Qingming Festival,

The misty riverbanks of Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains,

and a night banquet painting shrouded in secrets.

But all of these paintings are damaged.

The spirits of the paintings say they must repair them if they want to go home.
