Push My White Zetsu

Shiratori Momoka was a superstar idol whose popularity endured long before she ever debuted.

"A breathtaking beauty untouched by gloom," "a natural-born star with incredible camera presence," "a beautiful girl even the goddess of beauty could fall for"... With a string of dazzling accolades behind her, Shiratori Momoka becomes the brightest topic of conversation at Namimori Middle School the moment she enrolls.

On the very day she comes to register, so many people get sent to the school infirmary by the head of the disciplinary committee for "gathering in groups."

And yet, this campus celebrity, who seems flawless to everyone else...

has secrets no one knows about:

First, all her popularity is manufactured. She's a marketing mastermind on an outrageous scale.

Second, before she became famous, she was a super-shut-in who did nothing but go to school and stay home.

Her only friend was an aloe plant in the corner of her room.

Every day, while watering it, Shiratori Momoka would tell the potted plant how she felt.

Then, a month ago, the aloe suddenly responded to her rambling. It told her that, thanks to her devoted care over time, she had touched the heart of the moon's Rabbit Goddess, Kaguya-hime.

The goddess had decided to send down her capable assistant to help Shiratori Momoka fulfill all her wishes.

Shiratori Momoka: Haha.

Shiratori Momoka: I must've gotten up too early. My aloe is talking.

But the next morning, when she got up and checked her phone, hashtags about Shiratori Momoka were all over the internet, mercilessly taking over the trending lists.

Her social media account gained ten million followers overnight, and people dug up every post she'd ever made. The one who launched her career was none other than the aloe spirit who had earnestly promised the night before to fulfill all her wishes.

"Lady Asuka, you're really famous now..."

The bad news: as a celebrity whose career is backed by connections, Shiratori Momoka barely has any real fans online.

The good news: no matter what she does, she has a hundred thousand loyal White Zetsu fans.
