My Catlike Boss Won't Leave Me Alone

During the interview, Zhi Yuan sat obediently in her chair. Song Xining had stepped in as her interviewer at the last minute. Behind her black-rimmed glasses, her gaze was icy.

After passing the interview, Zhi Yuan thought Director Song was strict but especially kind. She gave her a ride home in the rain and would leave a serving of washed fruit on her desk.

It was a shame this company was only a stepping stone. One day, she would move on to a big company.

One day, in a downpour, Zhi Yuan found a cat on her way home.

The cat was beautiful and aloof. It wouldn't get close to Zhi Yuan at home and hardly ever made a sound.

Zhi Yuan's rental was tiny and rundown. On top of working, she took part-time jobs to save for a house.

Zhi Yuan was oblivious and never noticed how much cleaner her room was every time she came home.

The cat was haughty and wouldn't tell her. It would only circle around Zhi Yuan and meow once.

Zhi Yuan thought she couldn't stay here any longer. She had to move to a big company, but she didn't have a car and couldn't take the cat with her.

So Zhi Yuan brought a woman home to adopt the cat. The cat panicked and tried to bite her.

Zhi Yuan hurriedly tried to explain things to the cat, but it ran away anyway.

The cat was gone for a long time. Song Xining was also gone for a long time, apparently on a business trip.

Zhi Yuan couldn't find the cat, but she had to leave the city.

Zhi Yuan never expected Song Xining to be the president of her new company. She froze for two seconds, then turned and ran.

Song Xining reached out to stop her, gritting her teeth. "You took what you wanted and now you're running?"
