[Many chapters are unsatisfactory, and some plot points are full of bugs. I'm still revising the story, but there's a lot to fix, so it'll take some time. My lovely readers can wait until I'm done revising before reading!!!]
[My other works, "I Mistook Heaven and the Tyrant for Canary Birds and Raised Them" and "Chuya's Sister, but Naoya Is My Dream Man," are now open for reading.]
Makise Kurisu, a genius brain scientist, wakes up one day in the feudal, decaying world of jujutsu.
At first, the higher-ups sneer. An ordinary person with such little cursed energy could be killed with a flick of the wrist.
Later, a cursed energy monitoring network covers Tokyo, special-grade cursed spirits are captured and sliced up for laboratory research, and secret techniques are added to the textbooks for nine years of compulsory jujutsu education...
The young Fushiguro siblings, bought out at great expense, and the three-year-old pink-haired kid who instinctively suppresses the King of Curses... She marches them all into the lab and sits them in a row for a lesson in materialism.
After all, education should start in childhood.
And, adults, the times have truly changed!!!
After watching the old-fashioned traditionalists get swindled until they haven't even got the clothes on their backs, one day, the Tyrant's eyelid twitches violently. "...Tch. Academics really do have hearts blacker than pitch."
A certain cursed spirit manipulator stares at the fully automated cursed spirit warning system, lost in thought. "So what kind of primitive life were we living before?"
And the strongest, who has always been insufferably arrogant, is now shamelessly hogging the lab's only sofa, with nowhere to put his long legs.
[Reader's Guide]
1. Pairing: A research fanatic trying to deconstruct jujutsu with formulas x the Six-Eyed Divine Child who refuses to be defined by any kind of logic.
2. The heroine borrows only the high-IQ characterization of the female lead from Steins;Gate. The plot of Steins;Gate is not involved at all, so you can enjoy this even if you haven't read it.
3. This is a super satisfying story about a heroine who uses science to crush her opponents in the early chapters, later topples the higher-ups through political maneuvering, and falls in love along the way. If it doesn't satisfy you, you don't pay!
4. The author is a hardcore J-type and will update daily until the story is complete, at eight every evening. See you then!
[Next work now open for reading] "[Jujutsu] Give the Tyrant of Heaven and Earth a Taste of the Power of Money"
[A story of "the power of money" VS "superpowers," and the ultimate push and pull between a mature man and woman]
"The Zenin family? That old conglomerate that's been losing money year after year?"
Kanzaki Rin slides a supplementary credit card in front of the man, openly admiring his broad shoulders and lean waist.
"I'm not interested in the family feud of some fallen young master. It's you I'm after."
The man gives a derisive laugh. "Miss, I'm very expensive."
"Lucky for you, all I have left is money."
She built her fortune from nothing and carved her way through the business world.
Now that she's made enough money, Rin decides to treat herself.
After all, quality physical release leads to an excellent state of mind.
A good state of mind means she can earn more money, pay more taxes, create more jobs, and benefit society as a whole!
Find a male college student? She might ruin his bright future and his virtue. That's wicked.
Find a popular male star? Their affair might leak and cause a public relations crisis. Too much trouble.
After weighing her options, she picks the dangerous man who just lost everything at the casino.
Not for any particular reason, except that he's got a perfect body, is great in bed and quiet, does the job for money, and has no strings attached.
After taking him in for a full medical checkup and confirming that he's got no illness besides the poor man's disease, Rin contentedly pushes a contract across the table.
Only after the Zenin family uses their "superpowers" to cause trouble for the Kanzaki Group, and Rin retaliates with the "power of money," does she look at the man beside her, who has no cursed energy at all, and feel a sudden pang of sympathy:
He doesn't even have superpowers. I have to protect him!
At first, Toji thinks this is just a game of keeping a lover in exchange for money.
He hides his fangs and plays the part of a delightful pretty boy pampered by his benefactor.
He watches her act decisively in business battles, precisely seizing every opportunity for profit.
He also coolly watches her take pity on people and "rescue" them all over the place, bringing seemingly down-and-out, but actually extremely dangerous, people into her business empire one by one, such as:
A world-weary young man with a bob, retching in a dark alley;
A top student in the University of Tokyo's law department, whose ideals have burned away in a rotten judicial system;
A black-haired young man in bandages who talks nonstop about wanting to drown himself, lies constantly, and is devilishly clever;
A red-haired former hitman who wants nothing more than to go straight and write novels;
In this contest that began with lust at first sight, top hunters often appear in the guise of prey.
Trying to steal my job?
I'm the only one who's allowed to make money off this woman for the rest of my life.
[Notes]
1. A natural-born leader and career-minded female CEO x the Tyrant of Heaven and Earth, a rabid dog with a top-tier face.
2. The heroine is only interested in sex, not love, at first. The hero falls for her on his own at first, then becomes a jealous wreck later.
3. The timeline is a total mash-up, with a mountain of headcanons. The heroine is Megumi's mother after the butterfly effect. The story may or may not include childbirth.
4. In this setting, the Big Three families secretly practice jujutsu, but publicly they're three major conglomerates. There will be business battles, but they'll be written in an easy-to-understand way. (The author has a general business background and is frantically studying Japanese business in the 2000s, so hopefully the story won't be too far-fetched.)
Theme: Use science to deconstruct the supernatural, and reason to protect emotion.
Can this episode really not be continued? So interesting 🙏
My wife is a genius! Congratulations on the ending, looking forward to the sequel!
(Crawling in darkness) (reaching out to the manuscript box)
You can finish it first. Maybe after you finish it, you may have different ideas about the things you want to change.
You guy, the red mark in the upper right corner, I thought it was finished, but it turned out that you have rebelled [oh oh oh]
The brain flower is really disgusting, the tiger is still so small
Why is this idiot so cunning and a thousand-year-old monster so difficult to kill?
I can't get enough of it. I tied it in one night.
It's so well written, my wife 🐶🌹 I love you ❤️
