The Ink-Stained Little Immortal's Long March Through Ink

A blot of ink came to life, and a brush gained magic.

To repair the treasured family inkstick cherished by his grandfather, Li Xiaoyu sets out on a strange journey of collection. He must search across mountains, rivers, and the human world for five lost "inks of virtue": the ink of sincerity burns like a flame, while the ink of verdant green is like the roar of pines...

By his side are a mischievous, lively little ink fairy and a solemn, meticulous paperweight spirit. Together they travel through the kiln fires of Jingdezhen, the ancient villages of Huizhou, the waterways of Jiangnan, and the forest of steles in Xi'an.

This is more than just an adventure. When the journey reaches its end, Li Xiaoyu discovers that every stroke he writes is no longer merely a horizontal, vertical, left-falling, or right-falling line. Courage guides the brush, perseverance shapes the wrist, sharing brings balance to the composition, and humility draws in the finishing stroke. What ultimately brings every stroke to life is a childlike heart that has learned to love.

A fantastical journey to rediscover the soul of Chinese characters, and a heartwarming adventure accompanying a young boy as he grows.
