[Western Crossover] What Should I Do When Big Red Jujube Keeps Prying Open My Window?

Description updated on August 6, 2026.

While volunteering in Gotham, you find a black-haired boy.

He’s covered in scars, can’t speak, and doesn’t react to anything around him. He seems to have a tragic past. You take meticulous care of him and try to teach him sign language, but make little progress. In the end, the only thing he learns to sign is your name.

Then one day, a woman named Talia appears. She says she knows the boy and intends to return him to his family.

You’re suspicious of who she is, but her elegant clothes and the bodyguards surrounding her put your doubts to rest. She says the boy will be well cared for with her.

You look at the humble conditions in your neighborhood and decide to let her take him away.

For a long time, you hear nothing about the boy. You can only hope he’s doing well.

One day, while reading the newspaper, you discover that a new villain has come to Gotham. He calls himself the Red Hood and has caused Batman a lot of trouble.

This has nothing to do with you, until one stormy night, the Red Hood expertly slips through your window and into your apartment.

Blood runs down his body and stains your carpet. You hold a knife up to him, warning him to stay back.

But the Red Hood only lies on the floor, gasping for breath. He raises the hand he’d been using to cover his wound and makes a sign.

It’s the sign language you taught him. He’s signing your name.

Your boy has come back. He’s grown up and no longer silent. Now he’s consumed by a boundless fury.

“Sorry for getting blood on your carpet,”

he says softly.

“I just wanted to see you one more time.”
