[Western Crossover] How to Impersonate a Batkid

You were born in Gotham, starting out as a standard orphan.

You scraped by in Crime Alley, never knowing whether you'd have enough to eat.

Your only stroke of luck was a face remarkably similar to that of Gotham's richest man, Bruce Wayne.

Your foster parents said that was the greatest value you'd ever brought them.

Especially after Wayne returned to Gotham from years of traveling abroad, and his name started appearing in gossip columns everywhere.

So your foster parents got an idea: take you to Wayne Manor and scam a little money out of him.

And, while they were at it, get rid of the parasite that was you.

Your part was simple.

Use your adorable little face to latch onto Wayne's leg and keep shouting "Daddy!"

They even hired reporters, and the whole gang marched right up to the gates of Wayne Manor.

You put in your eyedrops.

The gates opened. Without a word, you flung yourself forward, wrapped your arms around the person in front of you with your eyes closed, and wailed:

"Daddy!"

"I'm not your daddy!"

A childish voice interrupted your performance.

You opened your eyes. A black-haired little boy with blue eyes was blushing in your tight embrace.

And Bruce Wayne, the man you were supposed to call "Daddy," was standing off to the side with a stern expression.

He glanced at your foster parents, their eyes gleaming with greed behind you, then looked down at you, dressed in rags and trembling with fear.

Then he spoke.

"That's right."

He rested a hand on your shoulder, then flashed his signature playboy grin at the flurry of camera flashes.

"I have a daughter!"

How do you pretend to be a Batkid?

Easy. Just become a child with a tragic past, then go find Bruce Wayne.
