After the Ghost King Yiyong's Water Hashira Cosplay Was Exposed

All the Hashira in the world are hunting the Demon King, but nobody knows the Demon King is cosplaying as the Water Hashira.

One day, while on a mission with Shinazugawa Sanemi, Tomioka Giyu accidentally reveals his identity as the Demon King while saving a teammate.

Upper Moon Four: "Boss! I really didn't know you were cosplaying! I won't kill your friend anymore!" And just like that, Giyu is betrayed by his subordinate.

After learning the truth, Sanemi chases the Demon King with his sword and catches him at his weakest, during the day. "Got you, Demon King. I think we need to settle the score over you calling me simple-minded!" Sanemi locks Giyu's hands together and drags him home.

Giyu: "I've never eaten anyone, and I've never done anything bad. You can't treat me like this."

Sanemi: "I don't believe a word you say!"

The Wind Hashira lays down three rules before letting him go back to work:

1. The Wind Hashira is always right!

2. You must smile whenever you see the Wind Hashira!

3. You have to cook for the Wind Hashira, fold his clothes, and sleep with him!

Sanemi: I'm keeping an eye on him. I absolutely won't let him eat anyone! (Sleeping together: check.)

Giyu goes to work during the day and returns to Sanemi's house after his shift, diligently making dinner. But when the food turns out to be bland, Sanemi yells, "If you can't even cook, what can you do?!"

"I'm probably the only one who'd want a Demon King like you!"

Sanemi takes over the cooking and starts feeding the slender Demon King.

Giyu: Starry-eyed.jpg Sanemi, you're so good to me.

At night, watching Giyu sleep soundly, Sanemi thinks:

How is Giyu anything like a demon?! Where are the fangs?! The claws?! His sense of caution?!

One week later...

Mitsuri: Tomioka actually made the first move on Shinazugawa! I lost every bet!!!

Obanai: I lost all mine too!

Everyone knew there were sparks between Wind and Water, but they all thought Wind had a one-sided crush.

Stone Hashira: Amitabha. I'll gladly take all this money.

The only winner: the bookmaker, Stone Hashira.

Bonus Scene

The most bad-tempered member of the Demon Slayer Corps: Sanemi.

One day, unhappy with Sanemi's domineering ways, Giyu takes a big bite out of the Wind Hashira and even licks his blood a couple of times.

Then he promptly faints.

Sanemi carries him back to his room.

Well, look at you! And you're still getting mad at me!

Bonus Scene:

One day, an uninvited guest breaks into the Shinazugawa residence.

Kokushibo, Upper Moon One, sits by the window, watching his boss fold clothes.

He heard his boss had been captured and deliberately came to rescue him. "I'll take you away."

Giyu: "I-I won't go. I'm doing just fine living here." Guilty.jpg

Kokushibo thinks: So this is their Demon King, bewitched by a pretty face! And thoroughly ravished, too!

"If he bullies you, call me. I'll take you away, my boss." Gritting his teeth, exasperated.jpg
