During the battle with Muzan, Giyu is sent back by Nakime to the days when he trained alongside Sabito.
After becoming a demon, Giyu follows his senior around, killing demons together with him.
Sabito: Giyu is the most handsome and cutest person in ten miles around! No, demon!
Giyu: Nods, nods! Sabito is always right!
Sabito: Even if Giyu is a demon, I’ll carry him on my back as we slay every demon in the world. If Giyu ever eats a person, I’ll die with him.
Giyu: Nods, nods! Sabito is always right!
When Sabito can’t protect everyone and has to stand in front of them, demon Giyu picks up a Water Breathing sword someone else dropped on the ground, bites down on his bamboo tube, and softly says something unfamiliar: “Water Breathing, Twelfth Form: Calm Sea.”
Murata, the Village Pillar being protected nearby, and the ordinary members of the Demon Slayer Corps: Why can this adorable little “demon” use Water Breathing? No, that was clearly Sea Breathing! And what do you mean, “Calm Sea”? It’s such an incredible technique, so why have we never seen anyone use it before?! What on earth has Mr. Sabito been secretly teaching the little demon?! They say demons can’t learn Breathing Styles, but if a demon can use Water Breathing this well, it makes the rest of us look useless, unable to splash even a drop of water!
Sabito: Giyu is amazing. (rubs his head.jpg)
Knowing Giyu could defend himself and wasn’t the lowest-ranking kind of demon finally put Sabito’s mind at ease. Before, he’d practically wanted to tie Giyu to his waist. Giyu could go outside and get beaten half to death by a demon.
Giyu: Sabito is always right. (wink.jpg)
Much later, the Sabito-Giyu duo finally runs into the Wind and Snake Hashira, who were sent back separately and in no particular order. They haven’t become demons and are searching for Muzan on their own.
Snake: Giyu became a kid and a demon. How interesting. (sharpening his knife.jpg)
Wind: Let me kill you, Giyu. (drawing his sword.jpg)
Sabito draws his sword and shields Giyu behind him.
He has no idea who these two people are. He’s heard they single-handedly took down all the Lower Ranks and Upper Rank Six, and that they’re peerless fighters. Even so, he won’t let anyone hurt Giyu.
“If you want to kill Giyu, you’ll have to step over my dead body.”
“Water Breathing, Twelfth Form!”
The Wind and Snake Hashira look at Giyu, standing beside Sabito with an utterly indifferent expression. Giyu really has become an airhead. Fine, they’ll forgive him since he turned into a demon.
With Sabito even using the Twelfth Form of Water Breathing, if they don’t explain things soon, he’ll level all the mountains nearby.
Wind and Snake: We used to be his teammates. (reaches out to ruffle Giyu’s bristling hair)
Inner thoughts: Giyu’s even cuter now.
To kill Muzan, Giyu goes undercover as Upper Rank Zero. The first thing the new Water Hashira, Sabito, does after catching him is punish him.
Sabito: “Giyu, after kissing, there’s a next step. It’s not just cuddling up to sleep.” Sabito turns the ungrateful little thing over and over.
Bonus scene:
Whenever demon Giyu gets hungry, he goes berserk.
Sabito sees Giyu drooling and beckons him over. “Giyu, come lick me. You won’t be hungry after a few licks.”
At his words, demon Giyu immediately hugs Sabito and starts licking the neck he loves most.
Also known as: “What Do I Do When Giyu Drools Over Me Every Day?” and “How to Raise a Demon Junior.”
The visual split is fifty-fifty. The main characters are Giyu and Sabito.
Reading Guide:
1. Sabito is always the top; Giyu is always the bottom.
2. No promises about keeping the characters in character.
3. A short, sweet story.
Check out the three Giyu fanfic preorders in the announcement: “The Demon King Gets Unmasked After Cosplaying as the Water Hashira.”
Every Hashira in the world is hunting the Demon King, but no one knows the Demon King is cosplaying as the Water Hashira.
One day, while on a mission with Sanemi Shinazugawa, Giyu Tomioka accidentally reveals that he is the Demon King while saving a teammate.
Upper Rank Four: “Boss! I really didn’t know you were cosplaying! I won’t kill your friend anymore!” Giyu is betrayed by his subordinate just like that.
After learning the truth, Sanemi Shinazugawa chases the Demon King with his sword. He captures him when he’s at his weakest during the day. “Got you, Demon King. I think it’s time we settled the score over you calling me simple-minded!” Sanemi cuffs Giyu and drags him home.
Giyu: “I’ve never eaten anyone or done anything bad. You can’t treat me like this.”
Sanemi: “I don’t believe a word you say!”
The Wind Hashira lays down three rules before letting the Water Hashira go back to work:
1. The Wind Hashira is always right!
2. You must smile whenever you see the Wind Hashira!
3. You have to cook for the Wind Hashira, fold his clothes, and sleep with him!
Sanemi: I have to keep an eye on him and make sure he never eats anyone! (sleeping together: check)
Giyu works during the day, then goes home to Sanemi’s house and dutifully cooks. But the food has no flavor, and Sanemi yells, “If you can’t even cook, what can you do?!”
“Besides me, probably no one would want a Demon King like you!”
Sanemi takes over the cooking and starts feeding the slender Demon King.
Giyu: Starry-eyed.jpg Sanemi, you’re so good to me.
At night, Sanemi watches Giyu sleeping soundly and thinks:
How is Giyu anything like a demon?! Where are those fangs he’s supposed to have?! His claws?! His wariness?!
One week later
Mitsuri: I can’t believe Tomioka would chase after Sanemi! I lost every bet!!!
Obanai: I lost everything too!
The whole world knows there’s a spark between Wind and Water, but everyone thinks Wind is in love alone.
Stone: Amitabha. This old monk gladly accepts all that money.
The only winner: the bookmaker, Stone.
Bonus scene
The number one most short-tempered member of the Demon Slayer Corps: Sanemi.
One day, dissatisfied with Sanemi’s dominance, Giyu takes a big bite out of the Wind Hashira, then licks up a couple of mouthfuls of blood.
Then he dramatically faints.
Sanemi carries him back to the room.
You little punk! And you’re picking a fight with me over that?
Bonus scene:
One day, an uninvited guest breaks into Sanemi’s estate.
Upper Rank One, Kokushibo, sits by the window and watches his boss fold clothes.
He heard his boss had been captured and came to rescue him on purpose. “I’ll take you away.”
Giyu: “I-I’m not leaving. I’m pretty happy living here.” Guilty.jpg
Kokushibo’s inner thoughts: This is their Demon King, smitten with a man! And letting him have his way with him!
“If he bullies you, call me. I’ll take you away, boss.” Gritting his teeth, furious that Giyu won’t live up to his potential.jpg
