She's Strange

[An antisocial, severely mentally ill, obese heroine X a handsome amnesiac who escaped from an asylum. Because of his medication, the hero is a little foggy-headed at first, but later becomes cunning, calculating, and vindictive. First-person narration. The heroine is 161 centimeters tall and weighs 75 kilograms. She's not meant to be likable, and that's the point.]

"If I saw him, then he's mine."

.

After confirming that the man was a perfect specimen, I dragged him into my bathroom, turned on the shower, and used my new pomegranate-scented body wash to bathe him.

Warm tap water streamed from the showerhead's tiny holes as I rinsed the suds off the man's back.

"Mm..." Just as I was carefully washing the man's hair, he opened his eyes and woke up.

Maybe he wasn't very bright, or maybe he was still groggy from waking up. Either way, he seemed a little dazed.

His thick, long eyelashes were beaded with water, giving him an especially fragile look that appealed to me.

The clear droplets looked like tears. With the slightest blink, they fell. Water droplets of all sizes rolled down his beautiful face, reminding me of the marble machine outside the neighborhood grocery store.

If I put a coin into the man's mouth, would his tears come out like marbles?
