Brave One, Please Answer

Wei Lan graduated from a second-rate university, spent a year lying around, and her strongest work experience was "108 Ways to Make Instant Noodles."

But if she kept slacking off, she wouldn't even be able to afford instant noodles.

Desperate enough to try anything, she applied to a bizarre company whose written test consisted of 500 handwritten questions, a hellish ordeal on par with the humanities and social sciences exam. She used every ounce of her talent for making things up and somehow got an offer in return.

The job description sounded like a dream: full benefits, a monthly salary of 100,000, 100 days of annual leave, and plenty of room for advancement.

Wei Lan, who had submitted her resume with her eyes closed, nervously asked, "Sorry, what's the title of this position?"

The HR representative replied, "Hero."
