The Hungry Girl and the Tall, Handsome Guy

A short fuse and an honest man.

Synopsis:

When college started, Fang Xia ran into two things.

First, her parents bought her the car she'd always wanted: a BMW!

Second, her boyfriend of three years, whom she'd been dating since high school, dumped her for someone with a Porsche!

Fang Xia couldn't swallow that insult, but getting a different car was unlikely, so she turned her attention to the campus...

The moment He An was stopped by Fang Xia, the steamed buns he'd just bought fell from his hands. The girl before him was bright and lively, and not very tall. She sipped milk tea, while the diamonds on her manicure dazzled him into confusion.

"Do you know how much one of these diamonds costs?" Fang Xia asked.

He An, who had trained in sports since childhood, shook his head honestly. "Hello, Diamond. I'm not a manicurist. I'm an athlete."

"I didn't ask you to do my nails! I mean, each diamond costs 100 yuan. If you spend a day with me, I'll pay you 100 yuan too! When we run into my ex, you have to help me make him jealous!" Fang Xia's freshly permed curls almost stood on end.

He An was short on cash, but he knew this wasn't something he should do. He ran off, refusing her as he went.

For the next week, Fang Xia kept "hunting for handsome guys" on campus, but not one of them caught her eye. None was as tall as that poor guy, or as handsome, or as muscular.

After class one day, Fang Xia got into her car and was about to leave when someone opened the passenger door of her BMW. The tall, muscular, handsome guy stood awkwardly outside.

Desperate for money, He An took a deep breath and got in. He asked tentatively, "Diamond, are we still doing 100 a day?"

"My name isn't Diamond. It's Fang Xia!" Fang Xia looked at his chest, which seemed about to burst through his T-shirt. "And I need to inspect the merchandise first!"

Later, Fang Xia's best friends didn't approve of the two of them dating because He An's family was too poor, and there was no guarantee of a stable future for an athlete.

That was until they saw He An, bare-chested and wearing an apron, making breakfast for Fang Xia. Her friends all shook their heads. "You greedy girl, eating this well without telling us."
