[Demon Slayer: Giyu X Shinobu] Her Superstar in a Chaotic Age

When she was young, she lost her head for a moment and graduated from the theater troupe early because she got married too soon. Fortunately, that gentleman, a senior figure in the entertainment world, saved her from her abusive ex-husband.

Thanks to his introduction, she returned to the stage.

Holding her son, who had just turned one, she softly finished singing a lullaby and couldn't help asking, "Inosuke, do you think I chose the right person this time?"

Little Inosuke couldn't talk yet. He just kept going, "Uh, ah, ah, ah," which sounded a bit like he was objecting. Inosuke, do you really hate Mr. Douma that much? He brings you so many presents every time he visits, and even looks after you when Mom's busy rehearsing. Sigh...

On the day she and Mr. Douma made their relationship official, he offered her another opportunity. "There's a really famous IP. How about I recommend you for a guest role, playing opposite me? It's only a cameo, but this couple is really popular in the original!"

She smiled with delight. "I'm so happy I get to act opposite you, Mr. Douma."

But this plot is just so... bizarre. A cult leader takes in a homeless young single mother, then, uh, eats and absorbs her?

Mr. Douma smiled. "I'm not eating her. Little Kotoha and I are becoming one. Oh, no, no, I mean that's the plot of the movie! The movie, the movie!"

After the film's release, she also gained plenty of fame.

A reporter even asked her, "Miss Kotoha, did you and Mr. Douma turn your on-screen romance into a real one?"

At the sweetest, most triumphant moment of her life, if only she hadn't witnessed that unexpected, horrifying, blood-red scene that chilled her to the bone...

The famous award-winning actor, the global superstar, her lover, her mentor, the one who had shown her the way. It turned out he really was an East Asian Hannibal.

Award-winning actor Douma x stage actress Kotoha. A modern Japanese entertainment industry AU, featuring gore in the style of cult films.

In this story, Douma's true identity is an evil god worshipped by a cult, hence the Lovecraftian tag. In my headcanon, the Douma outside the movie isn't especially fond of eating women. He eats everything. He's absolutely terrifying and cruel...

Core Theme: You once taught me the true meaning of love. Who could ever take your place?
