Ling Qing'ai × Qianshan Su

Ling Qing'ai is a background NPC in an infinite-flow world, someone nobody cares about. Every day, he's either slacking off or on his way to slack off.

Then an NPC supervisor catches him slacking, and Ling Qing'ai is reassigned to the boss's side to be... a background NPC.

On the first day, Ling Qing'ai doesn't dare slack off. He works nervously all day, only to discover that the boss isn't there at all.

On the second day, Ling Qing'ai meets Qianshan Su, another background NPC colleague, who takes the lead in arriving late, leaving early, and slacking off on the clock.

On the third day, Ling Qing'ai finds a recipe.

On the fourth day, Ling Qing'ai and Qianshan Su open a grilled sausage stall, with players as their target customers.

A wildly popular grilled sausage shop has recently opened in Zhuxuan City. Even though each sausage costs at least 100,000 points, an outrageously high and utterly exploitative price, plenty of players still pay for them.

That's because, besides being delicious, they also have special abilities.

When the NPC supervisor hears about the shop, he wants to try one. He sees the price and is about to start cursing, but then he notices their moody boss, known as the cold-blooded tyrant, squatting beside him and... using a little knife to score a sausage.

NPC supervisor: "?"

Ling Qing'ai: "Supervisor, are you buying or not? If not, don't block the way."

Qianshan Su slowly looks up.

The NPC supervisor immediately feels his position is in jeopardy. "I'm buying! I'll take it all! I want the enhanced version too!"

Ling Qing'ai has always thought Qianshan Su is a background NPC like him, so even when selling sausages, he doesn't forget to leave some for him.

Until one day, at a meeting, he sees Qianshan Su accidentally sitting in the head seat.

Ling Qing'ai: "Su, that's the boss's seat. Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Qianshan Su: "...I sat in the wrong seat."

The supervisor, arriving late, sees the boss stand up from the head seat and immediately collapses to the floor with a thump. "Boss, I was wrong! I shouldn't have been late!"

Ling Qing'ai's fox body trembles. "B-boss...?"

Qianshan Su: "...I can explain."

Ling Qing'ai acts like it's no big deal, but as soon as the meeting ends, he goes back to pack his bags and get ready to run.

The trip to the station goes smoothly. Just when Ling Qing'ai thinks he can go home and inherit the family business, er, live off his family and do nothing, he spots Qianshan Su waiting at the station entrance with a dark expression.

Then Qianshan Su grabs him by the back of the neck and takes him home, to Qianshan Su's house.

From then on, Ling Qing'ai can never forget that day: his eyes wet as Qianshan Su pins him down in every corner of the house.

Little scene 1:

Qianshan Su makes Ling Qing'ai a drink, and Ling Qing'ai gulps it all down.

But after drinking it, he starts feeling a little hot.

Ling Qing'ai: "I'm so hot. What did you give me?"

Qianshan Su smiles. "A love potion."

Ling Qing'ai: "?"

#Whoa, man, don't poke my butt!#

Little scene 2:

Ling Qing'ai thinks Qianshan Su's needs in certain areas are too much for him to handle. So he decides to run away to the neighboring romance world, but before he can even send in his resume, someone drags him back.

"Help, I'm going to die!"

"Don't worry, you won't die."

#Is this really all you do all day?!#

🐾 One-on-one romance, the two of them fall in love.

🐾 Imperfect characters. The top is unhinged and has issues; the bottom talks a lot and has plenty of inner thoughts. In the end, the two are inseparable.

🐾 The bottom is an NPC and doesn't enter the dungeons, but he sells grilled sausages to the players inside them. There is very little dungeon description.

Xing is a little blind boy. An accident in childhood, poor health, and a lack of money all led to his blindness.

One day, he transmigrates into a book as an evil cannon-fodder and receives a System.

He thinks he'll be able to see again, but it turns out the evil cannon-fodder is blind too.

And, to make matters worse, he transmigrates on the very day the cannon-fodder is forced to marry the mountain god.

The System tells him that if he wants to see again, he has to obey.

Step one: As an evil cannon-fodder, Xing must first be evil.

Step two: He has to do bad things to reinforce his evil cannon-fodder persona.

Step three: Stop acting so pitiful in front of the System.

Xing, who hasn't done anything: "Oh..."

The wedding night is the perfect chance to reinforce his persona, so the System tells Xing to be bold.

Xing feels his way around the unfamiliar room, making a mess of the bed and scattering peanuts and longans all over the floor. At last, his hands find something warm.

Curious, Xing gives it a squeeze. Someone else's voice comes from above him.

"It's your first day here and you're already making a mess and teasing me. Is this what the Yi family calls obedience?"

Xing jumps, pulls his hands back behind his body, and instinctively calls out, "Husband, is that you?"

The person in front of him pauses, then reaches out and turns Xing's face toward him. "I'm right here."

On the first day of their marriage, the System tells Xing to make a terribly disgusting breakfast for the mountain god and make him angry.

But Xing says slowly, "We can't waste food..."

The System is exasperated. "You're an evil cannon-fodder! Evil cannon-fodder are supposed to be really evil!"

Fine. Xing can only give in and make a terrible breakfast as the System instructs, then serve it to the mountain god.

The mountain god is indeed furious and leaves at once.

The System is very pleased, but when it turns around, it sees Xing holding the horrible breakfast and slowly eating it.

The System breaks down. "What are you doing?! You're an evil cannon-fodder, not a pitiful little thing!"

Xing: "We can't waste food."

The System: "..."

The mountain god returns with a freshly made breakfast: "?"

Rumor has it the mountain god is a fearsome creature with a violent temper. The slightest displeasure brings on raging winds and torrential rain, harming the Yi family's fortunes.

So the Yi family comes up with a plan: they send Yi Xing, the illegitimate child of the family, to appease the mountain god's fury.

The Yi family has disliked Yi Xing for a long time. He's sickly and blind, but at least he's good-looking and has a little value. If he dies at the mountain god's hands, at least he'll have made some contribution to the family.

They never expect that, when the family is on the verge of bankruptcy and goes up the mountain to worship the mountain god again, they'll find the illegitimate child nestled in the arms of a white divine beast, sleeping soundly.

The Yi family: "Is this right?"

The mountain god finds them annoying and immediately sends everyone back down the mountain.
