Wen Meng x Xiao Xing

After Wen Meng dies, he becomes the owner of a flower shop in a small town.

By day, the town is peaceful and quiet. By night, strange noises echo through its streets.

One day, Wen Meng feels an especially powerful longing to go home.

The home he wants to return to isn't the one in this little town, but the one where his family and friends are waiting.

So he follows his heart to Greenfield Station and buys a ticket home.

Train: No. 13.

Departure time: Unknown.

Starting station: Greenfield Station.

Destination: Unknown.

It's a very strange ticket. Wen Meng thinks he's been scammed and shouts, "I want a refund!"

Miss Rabbit, the ticket seller, says, "Tickets are nonrefundable once sold. Perhaps you should ask the ticket itself what to do."

Wen Meng: "???"

What the heck? What do you do when you run into a crooked station?

Wen Meng is escorted out of the station.

The instant he steps outside, the ticket in his hand comes to life. It wriggles over to him and speaks in an odd, exaggerated tone: "Oh, my dear master, do you really want to go home? I have a way~"

The ticket actually came to life?!!!

After a long talk with the ticket, Wen Meng learns that all he has to do is earn enough money to build a railway, and he can go home.

Ticket: "Sounds simple, doesn't it?"

Wen Meng: "...What the heck about that is simple?!"

Wen Meng is forced to take on commissions to earn money.

"Ugh! I'm dead!" the monster says before falling stiffly to the ground.

Wen Meng: "...Are you trying to scam me?"

The monster lies motionless.

In the end, Wen Meng rescues the trapped dragon.

Then he realizes the dragon's human form looks an awful lot like his childhood friend!

All right, Wen Meng confirms that this person is his childhood friend, Xiao Xing. He just doesn't know why he ended up here or why he looks like this.

Wen Meng takes him in and brings him along on commissions. (Not because he's scared.)
