The Beautiful Immortal Venerable Is Relentlessly Clung to by a Little Merman

💛The beautiful immortal who pretends to be blind and is always stubbornly in denial, Xie Yan x the innocent little merfolk who keeps climbing into bed for cuddles, Yu Bai

[Likes touching scales and extreme skin hunger]

Xie Yan has pretended to be blind every day for hundreds of years, just so she can have an excuse to keep people from bothering her.

One day, using meditation in seclusion as an excuse, Xie Yan sneaks out of her sect, only to be knocked unconscious from behind by demons who hold a grudge against her.

Behind the spiritual veil over her eyes, the demons have no idea that Xie Yan has been awake the whole time.

To humiliate her as revenge, the demons arrange a ghost marriage between her and a dead fish.

Xie Yan plays along with the whole ceremony, then takes advantage of the demons' triumph to attack one of their major bases with her sword.

Looking at the dead fish, which doesn't move at all, she thinks its scales are quite pretty.

Xie Yan takes the prettiest scale, then gives the dead fish a proper burial.

Xie Yan can't get enough of that scale and keeps it hidden in her sleeve, stroking it every day.

One day, she dreams that a fish tail is wrapped around her. It presses against her through the fabric, teasing her at every turn.

A gorgeous merfolk leans over her ear, their breath hot and their presence utterly enchanting.

Merfolk: What are you doing with my scale all day? You've been making me suffer every day. You have to take responsibility.

Xie Yan: ?!

Xie Yan: Here, take it back. I don't want it anymore.

The merfolk's mouth droops, and they drape themself over Xie Yan, cursing her as a heartless lover.

Xie Yan: ???

When Xie Yan wakes up, she turns and finds a merfolk sleeping beside her, and most of her clothes have been taken off.

She immediately suspects she's been set up and uses a formation to restrain the merfolk.

She points her sword at them, but a strange contract stops her.

The merfolk wakes to find Xie Yan pointing a sword at them, and their eyes instantly turn red.

Merfolk: Do you have any idea how hard it was to crawl out of the ground?

Only after examining things does Xie Yan discover that the ghost marriage accidentally created a new contract between them.

The merfolk is insatiable, and Xie Yan is pestered by them every day.

Unable to bear it any longer, Xie Yan takes the merfolk on a trip, claiming they are traveling the world, while they search for a way to undo the contract.

The merfolk learns that Xie Yan doesn't like them climbing through the window into her bed all the time, so they sulk and decide to stop.

Xie Yan, who waits all night for them: ???

The next night, Xie Yan imitates the merfolk and climbs into their bed, only to find the usually clingy merfolk suffering, their beautiful eyes glistening with tears.

Under the contract's influence, neither of them can control their desire for the other.

The fish tail flicks in her palm, gradually turning pink.

Xie Yan stares at the lovely sheen of the scales on the fish tail and once again can't resist touching them.

Xie Yan: So pretty.

The merfolk's eyes turn red, their glistening gaze full of reproach.

Merfolk: Aren't you blind?

Xie Yan: I don't need to look to know.

The spiritual veil over her eyes is pulled away, revealing a pair of eyes that reflect nothing but the merfolk before her, their ears bright red.
