In Baseball, Looks Really Aren't Everything

Ichiro Chiba decides to go to Seido to play baseball for one reason and one reason only: Seido has the best-looking catcher. Please treat this as a bit of fun. The real world does not support or encourage judging people by their looks. Important: I aim to update once a day, but there are no guarantees. I’ll take time off when something comes up. I heard Ace of Diamond is getting a new anime in 2026, so I’m writing something to celebrate. ( I’m no expert. I’ll do some research by reading books on how to teach baseball, but I won’t get too hung up on accuracy. If I do, I’ll never be able to write anything... (I’m guilty.) I really should stick to writing something that doesn’t take much brainpower. I’m just worried I’ll make the characters so OOC that the whole thing crashes and burns... May 7, author’s note (please prepare yourself before reading) I have an outline that goes up to the protagonist’s second year, after the little angel enrolls. Until then, there will continue to be original storylines and original characters. They won’t be on the protagonist’s team after graduation. I can’t make major changes to the outline and turn the things I want to write into something unrecognizable, or the plot and characters won’t hold together in the end. (It’s not like I’m any good at writing to begin with. What would happen if I made a mess of it on top of that?) There’s nothing I can do about the slow updates. I’m already busy, and I type slowly. I don’t have any free time during the day, so I can only write after work. By the time I get off, it’s already seven. When I first started working a few months ago, I was completely overwhelmed. Now I’ve adjusted, but I still often have side jobs waiting for me after work, even if it isn’t every single day. If this hadn’t gone paid, I really think I would have dropped it by now. But it has, and I’ve written an outline and decided to see it through, so I’ll grit my teeth and keep going until the end. If you can’t accept that, there’s nothing I can do. I suggest you don’t read it. You’ve paid for it, after all, so there’s no point in reading something you don’t like and making yourself angry. Theme: Judging people by their looks is not a good idea
