[Baseball / Oblivion Battery] The Pinky Finger Cures Slacking Off

Yuki Ayumu, an athletic genius who'd pushed herself until she was numb, retired to the countryside to lie flat at Kotesashi High School.

Her goal was a high-school life full of LOVE AND PEACE.

No intense track and field, no fiery volleyball, no murderous tennis.

What, a baseball club with too few members? Wow, we can all be casual hobbyists, have fun, and make friends. This is the perfect place to slack off.

Wait, what's going on? Why are we playing games with the goal of reaching the national tournament at Koshien? This isn't the peaceful, fun high-school life I wanted. My laid-back days, come back!

Effort.

Training.

Competition. On a road with no end in sight, people keep dropping out, while you chase after a faster, stronger version of yourself. After endless refinement comes a small achievement, followed by more tireless work for the next result, as you study hard to become stronger.

You can't go backward. You can't stop. You can't let anyone catch up. You have to keep competing without pause, all to win on a bigger stage.

But how much longer do you have to keep trying? Can you make it to the end without getting swept away and left stranded on the beach?

If this road is a perilous path with no end in sight, wouldn't it be better to switch tracks and try a different way of life?

The protagonist has no romantic pairing. Warning: the friendship with Ye Liu Gui is so intense it could be lethal. All the other characters are good friends, as in the original, and there are no romantic pairings.

I think playing baseball is really fun now, so I wanted to share that with everyone.
