Qiu Is Still Saving Fusu Today

Ye Qiuqiu was a spirit herb. Just after gaining human form, she was bound by the System.

System mission: Marry Young Master Fusu and extend the life of the Great Qin.

It was so difficult that Ye Qiuqiu worried until her leaves knotted up. It took half a day before they finally went "pop" and relaxed.

First step of the plan: stage a celestial maiden's fall on a path Fusu had to take.

Her celestial energy was too strong, and she fell straight into the arms of Fusu's father, the First Emperor.

The First Emperor picked her up and poked the grass-shaped hairpin wobbling in her bun. "Interesting. Take her away."

Once inside the Qin palace, Ye Qiuqiu did her best to earn his favor, hoping the First Emperor would arrange a marriage for her.

She presented plans for a curved-plow design. The First Emperor said, "Approved."

She explained how to grow vegetables in greenhouses. The First Emperor said, "Excellent."

She proposed freedom of marriage. The First Emperor declared, "Granted."

Ye Qiuqiu was overjoyed. It's in the bag!

The imperial decree arrived: "She is hereby made Lady Rongjia and shall attend at My side."

Ye Qiuqiu: Huh?

The bride had become his mother, and Ye Qiuqiu was still reeling when someone began scheming behind the scenes.

A little orchid tugged at Ye Qiuqiu's sleeve and whispered a secret: "The chancellor said bad things about Fusu behind his back."

A little rose leaned over with a soft rustle and whispered in Ye Qiuqiu's ear: "The chief eunuch swapped out the birthday gift Fusu sent."

A little bamboo shoot poked through the soil and told Ye Qiuqiu: "The Second Young Master snuck the treats the Emperor gave Fusu."

Ye Qiuqiu curled up her leaves. Hmph! I'm writing it all in my little notebook!
