The Butterfly Embraced by Amber

Yu Yu x Xu Mu

Peaceful, resilient, gentle, brave.

Before Xu Mu met Yu Yu, none of these words described her.

While hiking, Xu Mu lost her footing and tumbled down a slope, losing her memory.

Luckily, they hadn't climbed very high. She only had a mild concussion and temporary amnesia.

When she woke up, she couldn't recognize the high school classmates in front of her.

She only knew she'd fallen down the mountain, and that some people and events had gotten mixed up in her mind.

But among them, she could still recognize Yu Yu at a glance.

But Yu Yu said they weren't close.

After losing her memory, Xu Mu mistook Yu Yu for someone she had a crush on.

She went to great lengths to win her over, trying every trick in the book, but Yu Yu always found a way to turn her down.

Looks like it's time for a new plan: turn up the pressure!

-

Yu Yu shouted toward the sea, "Xu Mu! I don't know how long we'll be together. I just want to ask you one thing: do you want my sincere heart and a pair of warm hands?"

The sea breeze tossed Xu Mu's hair into disarray, and it streamed wildly in the wind. Without hesitation, she smiled at the sea and answered, "I do!"

The sea breeze was especially gentle that day.

At first, Xu Mu thought she'd been drawn to Yu Yu's smile.

Later, she understood that Yu Yu's most distinctive quality was her courage in facing life's frustrations.

She could see the good in everything bad and refused to let herself sink into negative emotions.

Yu Yu felt that every setback Xu Mu faced needed a hug to smooth it away.

So she always asked, "Xu Mu, do you need a hug?"
