Yun Zhang x Yin Churan

Cold snowflakes, warm embraces

Winter 2023. On a day of heavy snowfall, Yun Zhang broke up with her.

In the days that followed, she got drunk night after night.

Then, on New Year's Eve, less than a month after the breakup, the two of them somehow ended up in the same bed!

You can still kiss your ex after breaking up?

Yun Zhang suspected she'd been set up, and that it was a very elaborate setup.

Yun Zhang said guiltily, "Just pretend what happened last night was a mosquito bite."

Yin Churan sneered. "Mosquitoes bite that many places?"

What if it was a mutant mosquito?

Their relationship entered an indescribable state.

Strange, but somehow special.

Could this be what it's like to love each other but not be able to be together? How melodramatic!

Yun Zhang decided to lie low somewhere else, but wherever she went, Yin Churan was there.

Their conversations always went like this:

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here on a business trip. I don't have to report to an ex-girlfriend I broke up with but still kiss, do I?"

Yun Zhang: Fine, keep following me. I'll ditch you sooner or later anyway.

But Yin Churan's moves were truly unexpected.

She knew wherever Yun Zhang went, as if she'd installed a tracker on her.

She was like a plaster that wouldn't come unstuck!

Snow covered the ground, and flakes fell from the sky onto Yun Zhang's hair.

Hand in hand, they walked on.

Yun Zhang asked, "How long do you think we'll be together?"

Yin Churan answered earnestly, "Let's get married tomorrow."

What a hopeless fool, always going off script.
