Emperor Wu of Han's Crown Prince Wants to Ascend to Heaven

[Blurb]

Liu Ju has a dream.

He wants to fly into the sky.

But his dad won't let him.

His dad insists he become emperor instead.

What should he do, folks?

Liu Che had no sons for years, and didn't have one until he was thirty-nine. His son was wonderful in every way: healthy, clever, brave, and calm. The only problem was that he kept going on about building airplanes.

Unable to talk him out of it, Liu Che let him build one.

Liu Che: It's probably just a little toy. Once my son gets tired of playing with it, he'll settle down and focus on being Crown Prince.

A few years later...

Courtier: Your Majesty, the Crown Prince has finished building the airplane. He's planning to fly it.

Liu Che:!! Stop him at once!

Later historians wrote: Emperor Zhang of Han was intelligent from a young age and devoted to learning. He understood the principles of machinery, strengthened the nation through technology, and brought peace to the people through benevolence. He built flying kites that intimidated the Western Regions, compelling the barbarians to bow their heads.

PS: This is a parallel universe. Anything can happen.
