Li You is a bad seed. She has an innocent-looking face, smokes, drinks, and loves to tease people, yet she's so beautiful it's startling.
Her mother is a socialite of high society, a delicate woman as fragile as a parasitic vine. Her daughter is just as lovely and pitiful-looking, but has a stubborn, untamable spirit.

Bo Ze blushes and tightens his hold on her hand, opening his mouth to say, “Sis, ”
Shen Tingyan, standing nearby, says nothing. His face dark, he sweeps the boy's books and pencil case onto the floor.
He licks his upper palate in irritation, narrows his eyes at Bo Ze, and sneers, “What the hell is wrong with you?”
And that's when things start getting interesting.
The two of them fight fiercely over Li You, locked in an all-out battle.
Just as Bo Ze is nursing his heartbreak alone and Shen Tingyan is anxiously waiting to see what will happen, news suddenly breaks that Li You is going abroad and leaving for good.
That night, the two rivals who'd been at each other's throats sit down to drink their sorrows away, utterly baffled.
Bo Ze: “She doesn't love me? Then why was she so worried when I got hurt?”
Shen Tingyan: “She doesn't care about me? Then why did she cry when I went abroad?”
Their friend can't stand it anymore and speaks up:
“No reason. She plays with you two like you're her dogs.”
“...You really hadn't figured that out?”
