Bian Ye x Jiang Fei (parallel-timeline what-if)
When I was nineteen, I went to Italy to study. At the academy, I met a beautiful, fragile boy. Captivated by his aura, I rescued him from a bunch of thugs.
Later, we became friends and talked about everything. Around the same time, I started developing feelings for a foreign classmate, and then the boy asked me out.
Fooled by his harmless appearance, I drank the wine he offered me. When I woke up the next day, I found myself on a deserted island. White bones were scattered across the blue sky and sandy beach, and blood and flesh nourished vast fields of poppies.
On the throne, the golden-haired boy who had just killed someone toyed with a handgun. He rested his chin on one hand and smiled at me, like a beautiful, wicked red poppy.
I recognized the dead man as a rich second-generation student who had hit on me at university the week before.
"You're mine now," he said, delighted. The golden muzzle was still wet with the man's blood.
Then he came down and kissed me while I stared at him in terror.
With the last of my phone's battery, I frantically typed two words: Help me.

Jiang Fei's Diary 01:
The black-haired one is the catcher.
The blond one is the prey.
Dear Jiang Jun, leave it to me. Your death burns in my heart as my most consuming obsession. I'll risk everything for you.
At dawn on the thirty-fifth day, I'll personally send this evil spirit called Bian Ye to hell.
//
On the thirty-eighth day, a fragment of a manuscript was left behind in the burned ruins of the dark blue city:
Bian Ye:
If there is another life, maybe I'd like to be a good person, to truly love the girl I like, and to be a graduate student at Binfania University, not a demon from hell, a Satan who takes people's lives.
I've been in the depths of despair for too long.
A Fei.
But I love you.
