[Upcoming Novel]
I'm Shiliuye Yuesheng, an utterly ordinary, overworked, 24/7 wage slave (crossed out) police officer in the First Investigative Division of the Metropolitan Police Department.
Over the past 24 years, the biggest challenges in my life have been, first, cleaning up after two troublesome junior hotheads in the bomb squad, and second, protesting against those detestable Public Security officers who meddle in the First Investigative Division's work and even steal our cases!
...Only to have my protests rejected.
Damn it, don't underestimate me! (Leaves, completely flattened.jpg)
Anyway, my life has always been peaceful and uneventful. Then one day, after working overtime, I came home, opened a door, and discovered that a troublesome junior whose obituary had just appeared in the newspaper had somehow turned up in my psychiatric hospital...
[Dear visitor/patient, welcome to Mihua Psychiatric Hospital. To ensure your treatment proceeds smoothly and your personal safety is protected, please be sure to follow these rules.
1. Our hospital is located at 13-13, Mihua Town. If you arrive, walk in, and find that the door won't open, don't be surprised. The entire hospital was designed with sliding doors. :)
2. The hospital is open from 7:00 to 22:00. Please strictly observe the schedule. Do not linger in public areas after lights-out, lest you encounter danger.
3. Taking your medicine three times a day is absolutely mandatory. If you find that the nurses, the director, and your fellow patients all have the same face, don't question it. You need to increase your dosage.
4. The director %@+■■... is absolutely trustworthy.
5. Rooms 1001-1007 are always vacant. Do not try to open them unless you want to live in one and become one of them.
6. Rest assured, being discharged does not mean death.
7. Do not look anyone in the eye while in the hospital, unless you want to hear...]
"What the heck is all that gibberish?"
Looking away from the writing on the wall, Shiliuye Yuesheng straightens his white coat, takes a deep breath, kicks the door of the first room open, and shouts, "Stop hiding, Hagiwara! Get out of that room right now, put on this bomb suit, and go run ten laps outside!"
Hagiwara, dressed in hospital pajamas, holding a medicine bottle, and looking bewildered: "...Huh?"
Me?
A few just-for-fun skits
Q: Who are you?
Shiliuye Yuesheng (serious face): I'm a little butterfly.
Q: ...Where are you from?
Shiliuye Yuesheng (still serious): The hospital room.
Q: All right... So what are you going to do now?
Shiliuye Yuesheng (straightens his collar) (puts on his stethoscope) (very solemnly): I'm going to prepare medicine for my patients!
[How to Read]
☆ The protagonist is the pursuer, and the pairing is with Hagi.
☆ As usual, I'll save as many people as possible.
☆ By day, the little butterfly works as a cop at the Metropolitan Police Department, arresting people and sending them to jail. At night, he goes back to the psychiatric hospital to be its director, arresting people and sending them to the hospital.
☆ The little butterfly has delusions, but is otherwise normal. He believes he is a butterfly, specifically a beautiful, flamboyant blue morpho. The hospital is like a huge butterfly cocoon. Patients who recover receive a special discharge gift from the director: a handmade sweater, which they put on before happily leaving the hospital. Those who don't recover keep floating around as ghosts, with a bento box that flickers in and out of sight and no sweater to wear (x).
☆ There may be a little bit of rule-based horror. Yuanyuan is still learning how to write it, orz.
☆ More to come...
Theme: Young man, would you rather go to the Metropolitan Police Department and sit in jail, or come to my psychiatric hospital and knit a sweater?
