At first, a new boss was parachuted into the higher-ups' headquarters.
Gojo Satoru didn't care.
Who would care about the king of rotten oranges, ruling over a bunch of rotten oranges?
Later, the headquarters became more efficient than ever. The once-lazy civil servants were whipped into a frenzy, spinning like tops.
Gojo Satoru's mandatory daily rest time was increased to twelve hours.
The King of Rotten Oranges declared, "This is to stop you from avoiding work by killing yourself. To ensure you can work in good health for fifty years for this miserable world, your health will now be monitored and managed by the higher-ups."
Gojo Satoru: ?
But I only need three hours of sleep.
Now he suddenly had eight extra hours every day with nothing to do
Gojo Satoru was lonely, empty, and bored.
Gojo Satoru: "Then what about my mental health?"
The King of Rotten Oranges: "Have you ever heard of a jutsu called Infinite Tsukuyomi?"
Gojo Satoru: "..."
Ah, he thought he knew who was really behind the mask of this mysterious boss who wore a suit every day.
He really had watched Naruto.
*
Obito Uchiha: "Curses are creatures rooted in negative energy. If you want to eliminate curses, you can't start with the curses themselves."
Gojo Satoru: ?
Obito Uchiha: "If we create a world where everyone is happy, with nothing but joy and delight in their hearts, curses will disappear on their own when they have no negative emotions to feed on."
Gojo Satoru: "...You're thinking about something dangerous! You can't use Infinite Tsukuyomi in the jujutsu world! You can't eliminate negative energy and every curse by making all of humanity live in a dream!"
Obito Uchiha: "Fine."
Obito Uchiha: "Then I have another idea."
Gojo Satoru: "As long as you don't capture the Tailed Beasts and cast Infinite Tsukuyomi over all humanity, I'll consider supporting whatever else you want to do."
Obito Uchiha: "There are too many ninja in the shinobi world, and we're struggling to find them work. You've got too many curses and not enough jujutsu sorcerers. How about an international recruitment agreement, and the ninja come here to fight curses? Sarada is about to start school, after all. Sending her to elementary school in Tokyo would be much better than letting her hang around Konoha."
Gojo Satoru: "..."
And so begins the story.
This is a boys' love story featuring Obito Uchiha x Gojo Satoru, but the plot takes center stage.
The plot in a nutshell: in this world, fighting curses is the ultimate political virtue. Anyone who doesn't fight curses can go die.
The romance in a nutshell: Obito Uchiha, a foreigner in another world, enters a sham marriage with local Gojo Satoru to get a visa, then smuggles all his friends and family into the jujutsu world to fight curses together. A marriage of convenience turns into love.
To save both the shinobi world and the jujutsu world, the two worlds must join forces and fight side by side.
Expect plenty of gallows humor, absurd antics, and inappropriate, immoral jokes.
The shinobi-world timeline follows the Scarlet Spring Moon timeline. Naruto has been putting off becoming Hokage for twelve years. He can put up with it, but Sasuke can't, so he holds a Five Kage Summit, bars Kakashi from attending, lets Naruto in to push him to take office, and plans to send Sarada back to the village for school. This is the point in time before Sarada has returned to the village for school and before Naruto has become Hokage.
No bashing Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura.
No breaking up Sasuke and Sakura.
The jujutsu-world timeline is before the story begins. Yuji Itadori hasn't eaten Sukuna's finger yet, but he's about to.
Everyone in the jujutsu world gets equal-opportunity bashing, except Gojo Satoru, Yuji Itadori, and Ryomen Sukuna.
Ensemble cast.
Gojo Satoru's combat ability will not be nerfed.
Gojo Satoru is objectively invincible and can fight Sasuke from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations to a draw.
Sasuke will get stronger later on in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, with a replacement arm and training in the Six Paths of Pain, but Gojo Satoru will also level up with space-time abilities. In short, both Sasuke and Gojo Satoru will remain the coolest men in Jump, with their power levels balanced so neither outshines the other.
Aside from the main couple, no one else in this story is gay.
Theme: Of course, a savior should be with another savior.
