HP: What Does It Mean When My Archenemy Suddenly Confesses to Me?

As a Slytherin, I unilaterally consider the Gryffindor Chosen One my mortal enemy.

The reason? Probably because he keeps picking on my little underling Draco. Besides, do you need a reason to dislike someone?

The Chosen One seems to hate me too. Every time I talk to him, he turns bright red and stammers, unable to get a word out. He must be so mad at me that he can't speak. Hmph, the Chosen One isn't all that impressive after all.

Later, on a whim, I decided to kiss Potter on April Fools' Day as a prank. At worst, I'd gross him out; at best, I could say it was just an April Fools' joke, in case Potter got so embarrassed and angry that he tried to hit me.

But why did my enemy turn red on the spot and confess his love to me? He even said he'd liked me for a long time too.

It was just a prank!

* A wooden-headed heroine with a rather unusual thought process x an unlucky Chosen One whose secret crush is mistaken for hatred

* Still a short, brainless sweet treat, told in first person from both perspectives. Not a typical original female character story, but it can also be read as a self-insert romance. After all, it was written for this little short featuring the jealous "Kiss as a Prank" trope.

* The heroine's family background is my own version of the Selwyns (French version), and I gave her a name for convenience when writing Harry's perspective. Basically, she's strong, so she unilaterally insists that her childhood friend Draco is her underling (Draco: ?). But Draco is actually a loser who can't beat the childhood friend who came before him (hey!).

Theme: The mortal enemy keeps making a noise.
