[Marvel | The Amazing Spider-Man] Why Does Spider-Man Keep Buzzing?

[I'll revisit this and start over another day. I'm a little short on inspiration.]

You're an Asian transfer student.

You're pretty, but you don't do much to dress yourself up. You'd rather read and take part in competitions: a textbook nerd.

That made your previous school life less than pleasant.

When your parents' jobs changed, you transferred to Midtown High and met another nerd: Peter Parker.

For some reason, Parker never really makes eye contact with you, but he often shows up in your field of vision.

Then you figure it out.

Parker, who used to be first in the class but is now second, has been picking on you.

Peter Parker thinks he might have fallen for the new transfer student.

But he doesn't know how to start a conversation with her that isn't about schoolwork, so he can only hover around her now and then, awkwardly trying to strike up a conversation once in a while.

The transfer student's expression grows stranger and stranger whenever she looks at him, but she did ask for his contact information. Could she like me too? Parker wonders.

"Have you been picking on me lately?"

Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, has been trying his hardest to catch someone's attention. He receives the first message from the person he has a crush on.

*Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man x original female character, third-person narration

*I've been watching The Amazing Spider-Man again lately, so I'm cooking up some fanfic. It's a short story following the movie's plot, though it might start a little earlier in the timeline.

Theme: Why does the spider keep tingling?
