The Fifth Prince Doesn't Want to Strive (Qing Dynasty Transmigration)

Yin Qi understood one thing from a very young age.

He was born to live in comfort.

His father was the emperor, his mother was a favored consort, and he was his imperial grandmother's darling.

As for the throne...

What does that have to do with me?

Ha! Brothers, go ahead and compete as much as you like. I'm going to lie flat!

Wait, what does "compete" mean again?

-

Yin Qi often had all sorts of inexplicable thoughts.

For example:

He tugged at the Empress Dowager's sleeve. "Grandma, I want an airplane."

"A flying chicken?"

The Empress Dowager didn't understand, but she still brought him a coop of chicks to raise in the side room, determined to force the chickens to learn to fly.

And then:

He cornered Kangxi with a question. "Imperial Father, what is KuGou?"

Kangxi was utterly baffled. He went straight back to look through books, determined to find a classic that mentioned "KuGou."

And then:

He looked at the Crown Prince expectantly. "Second Brother, I want cake for my birthday."

The Crown Prince: ...

So what exactly was cake?

P.S. This is not meant to be historically accurate, just a bit of fun. Treat it as semi-alternate history.

The protagonist is born into the past and gradually regains his memories.

Theme: Cherish life.
