[What's it like to play for the most laid-back team in the world?]
Li Ou, formerly an Italian student in China and now an Italian named Leo Rossi, wakes from a disaster and finds himself in Italy in 2008.
Before he can get used to his new surroundings, a System suddenly appears and tells him to buy a football club within five minutes, or he'll be erased.
Standing on a street under the blazing sun, Leo sees a newspaper on a utility pole: "Parma lose at home to Inter Milan, relegated from Serie A for the first time in history."
Grabbing at this lifeline, he picks up his phone and calls: "I want to buy Parma! I don't care how much it costs!"
After buying the team, he gets a new mission: [Lead Parma to become the most profitable club in all of Europe.]
Before long, every Italian knows Parma has a new local owner who's a fool with more money than sense.
But this local owner is just too good. He raises salaries, renovates the stadium, brings in sponsors, and even takes in veteran stars discarded by the big clubs.
Shevchenko, Pizarro, Klose, and more. I want them all. I don't care if they're thirty or fifty. I'm taking in lonely, pitiful old guys.
Getting old and out of work? No problem, come to Parma. We'll cut through Serie B like a hot knife through butter.
Not interested in Serie B?
More money! Triple your monthly salary!
The players say: "Boss, I take back what I said. Where do I sign? Can I sign for twenty years? I'm planning to retire here."
Everyone thought this was the day Parma would make its comeback, but no one expected it to take five years for Parma to return to Serie A.
By then, the club had quietly made a fortune behind the scenes.
Serie A chairman: "Has Parma gone bankrupt?"
Secretary: "No! It's become the most profitable club in all of Europe!" (gritting his teeth through tears)
Serie A chairman: "?"
Nobody knows that Parma's new owner has a special hobby.
He likes to go out and play goalkeeper himself. The team only needs to win in the first half of the season and throw games in the second half anyway. With so many good players, he's never had matches this comfortable, and he even gets to save money on a goalkeeper.
But how did he end up winning the Golden Glove? Is that even allowed?
* The model is Hamburg, the Northern King. You can probably all tell, haha.
* Also known as Running a Retirement Home in Serie B.
* A lighthearted comedy. This is my first time writing.
* There may be another transmigrator, but I'm not sure. I'm still thinking it over.
* They're not really throwing games. The reason will be explained in the story.
* There is a couple: Maldini and the protagonist. Older man, so good!
