[Lord of the Mysteries] Is This Really a Proper Game?

The acclaimed Lord of the Mysteries, hailed as an unrivaled masterpiece of Western fantasy steampunk for the past decade and boasting zero bad reviews from everyone who's played it, is now online.

As a veteran gamer, Zhou Xiangjin can't believe she didn't even know when this game went into beta. Something is clearly wrong! She searches the internet for all the information she can find, hoping to get a rough idea of what kind of game it is, only to discover that there's barely anything about it online.

The gameplay and models are just too tempting. Zhou Xiangjin decides she has to try it, one way or another.

With a Western fantasy setting, of course she needs a Western name, so Zhou Xiangjin types in Estelle. The game claims to offer a high degree of freedom, yet it won't let players create their own models. It just uses their real-world appearance... At least she's pretty cute, so why won't it let players make their own models!

And is this game even legit? Why is it...

"Every gift bestowed by fate has had its price secretly marked in advance."

It has visual novel and RPG-style save-scumming. This game isn't just a game. The protagonist starts out morally chaotic. I won't let the Fourth, Fifth, or Third Epochs off the hook. It's a multi-partner story because of Miss Justice. We love Miss Justice! Of course, with multiple partners, there'll definitely be more than one female character. This is a work of unrestrained imagination.

Not for publication. I'm just writing for fun, so I can't guarantee I'll finish it.

Theme: Every story deserves an ending.
