[I hate my goddess. I'm unfollowing her and turning against her. :(] Blurb: October 12, 2025
Tan Siran was the brightest star at school.
She came from a good family, was beautiful, excelled academically, and treated everyone with warmth and courtesy.
No one could help liking someone as wonderful as Tan Siran.
Sang Mian was no exception.
But her family was poor, and she wasn't very smart. Aside from her exceptional looks, she had no real strengths. For a girl like her to have a crush on Tan Siran was bound to invite ridicule.
They laughed at her for being delusional and dreaming the impossible.
Tan Siran would never fall for her, they said.
But Sang Mian didn't care. She desperately stretched up on tiptoe, trying to reach Tan Siran's world.
Maybe Tan Siran had never met such a shameless pursuer. She became somewhat interested and agreed to be with her.
After they'd slept together a few times and Tan Siran still hadn't brought it up, Sang Mian could only quietly ask her for a label.
Tan Siran smiled, sat up, and looked at her without a trace of emotion.
The lighter clicked.
Amid swirling smoke, Tan Siran leaned against the headboard, the ember between her fingers glowing red, then dimming. She looked languid and sexy.
It was the first time Sang Mian had seen Tan Siran smoke. She was surprised that Tan Siran even smoked.
Tan Siran exhaled a plume of smoke and said slowly, "Isn't this nice? You're happy, and I'm happy."
"Sang Mian, why do you have to make sure everyone knows?"
What Tan Siran wanted to say was:
Sang Mian, why do you have to make things so difficult for me?
Tan Siran put out her cigarette.
Tan Siran's gentleness was fake, and so was her affection.
Sang Mian was nothing but a plaything Tan Siran toyed with when she felt like it. When she got bored, she could toss her aside.
Now Tan Siran was getting tired of her.
Sang Mian was dumped through cold treatment.
After the breakup, Sang Mian gave up on herself. Her family was poor and life was hard. Eventually, she took the wrong path.
With her pretty face, she soon hooked up with a wealthy woman.
It wasn't easy earning a rich woman's money.
After being thoroughly used at night, Sang Mian would curl up by the side of the bed and stare into space. Sometimes she thought of Tan Siran.
Tan Siran might have been distant, but when they were together, she had truly treated Sang Mian well.
She missed Tan Siran a little.
But she was already so ruined, and had done so much damage to her body. She didn't dare hope to see Tan Siran again.
It would be best if they never met again, Sang Mian thought.
But fate loved to play tricks.
She ran into Tan Siran again without warning.
In the wealthy woman's mansion, right after they'd had sex.
She came downstairs wearing the wealthy woman's shirt, her slender white legs exposed.
And there, on the sofa, sat Tan Siran.
Tan Siran looked up.
The moment their eyes met, Sang Mian froze stiff. Before she could react, someone approached from behind her.
It was the wealthy woman.
Right in front of Tan Siran, the wealthy woman gave Sang Mian's butt a playful slap.
Humiliation set Sang Mian's face ablaze and shattered the last of her dignity. She looked desperately toward Tan Siran...
But Tan Siran didn't even look at her. She simply greeted the wealthy woman with a calm expression.
She'd been fooling herself.
Sang Mian lowered her eyes and forced a smile, her lips still a little stiff.
She thought to herself:
Tan Siran is awful. I hate Tan Siran. I'll never think of her as my goddess again.
(And just like that, she fell hard.)
