[I'm planning to turn this into a story where you love me, I hate you, I love you, you hate me, and I hate you and myself, to get some practice. I'll post a darker version of Xi Wen later, orz.]
[Blurb to be revised]
Xi Wen is a powerful, beautiful ghost who loves to stir up trouble and watch from the sidelines. He has a long-standing grudge against the celestial masters, but none of them can take him down.
Until one day, the direct disciple of a purple-robed celestial master comes down from the mountain, vowing to destroy Xi Wen, this menace, and bring peace back to the human world.
When people tell him to run, Xi Wen just laughs it off.
He doesn't meet the legendary genius. Instead, he runs into the genius's junior fellow disciple.
The junior fellow disciple sobs and whines like a blaring trumpet, annoying Xi Wen so much that he seeks the man out himself and tells him to take his junior fellow disciple away.
The man completely ignores the fact that Xi Wen spared his junior fellow disciple, and chases after him with a peachwood sword. Enraged, Xi Wen fights him... once... twice... three times.
Bad news: He let his guard down and got captured.
Good news: The Taoist's yang energy is incredibly strong, and he smells amazing!
A beauty who can get anyone to lay their heart at his feet with a crook of his finger deigns to drape himself over a man. His phoenix eyes brim with affection, his red lips part ever so slightly, and he gazes at him with an ambiguous smile.
Just as Xi Wen's eyelids are about to twitch from all that blinking, he finally hears Jiang Fuyan's reply:
"Are your eyes bothering you? I have eye drops."
Xi Wen: ...
Throwing coquettish glances at a blind man!
·
Jiang Fuyan is a Taoist who has practiced since childhood, a once-in-a-generation genius who slays ghosts and delivers tormented souls. His heart is set on the Great Way, and he has never been one to concern himself with romance. Everyone praises him as someone with the Way in his heart... and a few screws loose.
That is, until he sets out to rid the world of evil and comes across a beautiful ghost named Xi Wen.
Xi Wen was lonely and helpless in life, and was slandered even after death. Warmhearted Jiang Fuyan immediately offers to uncover the truth and clear his name.
But Xi Wen is demanding. By day, he hangs off Jiang Fuyan and orders him around. At night, he shares a bed with him and gets handsy. Jiang Fuyan not only doesn't react, he's happy to wait on him hand and foot.
Xi Wen suspects he's missing a few screws and lazily points out, "I'm deliberately making your life difficult."
Jiang Fuyan gazes up at his haughty, supremely confident expression and thinks:
This is all part of my plan.
·
Everyone assumes the two are sworn enemies, and that sooner or later Xi Wen will die at the hands of Jiang Fuyan, who is carrying out Heaven's will.
Until Xi Wen appears openly at the Taoist temple's entrance, with the celibate Taoist priest Jiang following close behind.
As everyone stares in shock, Jiang Fuyan pulls the beautiful ghost into his arms.
"Allow me to introduce my wife, Xi Wen."
#Upright, stoic, devoted guard dog x silver-tongued, flirtatious beauty. Both are virgins, one-on-one, younger gong.
#No professional knowledge involved, just a love story where you love me, I don't love you, then I love you and you love me too.
Theme: Love that transcends life and death
