Another Day of Varia Going Deaf

This story will go premium on April 9. Thank you for all your support along the way~

Unrestricted paragraph comments are open, so feel free to chat. Updates every other day before it goes premium, daily updates afterward. As usual, updates come at 8 p.m. (On the day it gets a featured slot, the time will be changed to 11 p.m.) I'll take a day off if something comes up. My completed novels are listed in my profile: Fuyi and Reborn, a delightful brother-and-sister story. Give them a try~

After landing in Sicily, Sviella couldn't hear, and that was only the beginning. She couldn't speak the language, either, and couldn't just open her mouth at will. She could feel the world's hostility.

While helping the children in the slums steal medicine, she accidentally rescued a red-eyed boy. Unfortunately, she exposed her trump card: her ability to use Word Spirit.

After that, Svi felt she was being watched. To be precise, people had their eyes on her Word Spirit ability.

How did she end up becoming his companion? Svi fell silent.

Actually, Svi always felt she was being treated like a lackey. Well, as a deaf and mute teacher from the future, she would be patient with every child.

But...

Svi: So you're saying I spent all that time working out a plan to seize the throne, even listing every step and detail for dealing with the aftermath, and then you suddenly decided not to seize it, is that right?

xanxus: Cut the crap, trash. You just have to obey my orders.

Svi: (death smile) No. You are absolutely seizing the throne. I say so.

That said, X will not take the throne in the end, and the Tenth Vongola Boss will still be 27.

The story ends before the Ring Battles.

Content warnings:

Svi and X's father knew each other as children. It's a childhood-friends story, but there is no romance! The author loves platonic relationships~ They're more like an unconventional brother and sister.

Svi is a gentle, motherly type, though of course she gets angry when provoked.

She has a special ability, Word Spirit. Her deafness will not be cured.

Fuyi, a character from my previous story, will appear. All the protagonists of my KHR stories live in the same world~

I'm not a canon expert, and I've made tons of headcanons about Xanxus's childhood. This is my version of Xanxus, so please don't flame me if you don't like it.

The story follows a friendship route. Apart from canon couples, there are no one-sided or mutual crushes. Everyone is friends.

The focus is on everyday life and a pretend childcare plot (?). The heroine won't be throwing her weight around in the underworld. The strategizing and plotting are about the same as in my previous story.
