★ The Moonlight Never Falls
Xia Youmu is entirely human, yet she has a half-blood brother. Every so often, he has to drink blood or risk exposing his identity. With no other choice, Xia Youmu sets her sights on the dragonfolk at an aristocratic school.
★ No Painted Face in the Mirror
After Xia Youmu’s brother dies in an accident, she is left alone in the Xia family. Her greedy relatives, coveting the family fortune, send her to live with a cousin she has never met. Her cousin was kidnapped by bandits as a child and left with a disfigured face, yet his room is filled with mirrors.
On a dark, quiet night, countless people from the mirrors crawl out and whisper in her ear: Youmu, I’m your brother.
The little worlds grow ever stranger, and all sorts of inhuman things keep attaching themselves to Xia Youmu. She hates them, so she makes a few careful arrangements.
Life grows peaceful again, but in the shadows, the dead quietly begin to return. Then Xia Youmu realizes she can no longer leave this little world. All she can do is accept their love.
