Who Left Their Oven Mitts?

Ayase is a tiger shark. When he was little, an orca flipped him onto his belly and shoved him onto the beach, where he nearly dried out into shark jerky. Luckily, a kind human put him back in the sea.

When he grew up, he swore he would find that human and repay the favor.

But all he remembered was that the person was dressed in black.

A black trench coat.

Ayase: He even picks up cigarette butts! An environmental guardian! He must be my benefactor!

Gin, careful not to leave DNA behind: ...

Black sunglasses.

Ayase: He can knock a bomber flying with one punch! He must be the one who pushed me back into the sea!

Jinpei Matsuda, powered by a rage buff: ...

Black skin.

Ayase: This guy is completely black! He has to be the real deal!

Rei Furuya, too exhausted to argue: ...

After swallowing two remote-controlled bombs and carrying off a Scotland, Ayase also got curious about what a 140-year-old air-dried human (the distillery boss) might taste like...

Gin, Jinpei Matsuda, and Rei Furuya: Spit him out! You can't eat that!!!

Reading guide:

1. Tiger sharks are famous "ocean garbage cans" that eat anything. Their bodies look like giant oven mitts.

2. If you see one in the wild, run! They eat people. Ayase was extremely young when he was rescued. (Don't overthink it. If you encounter one, just run.)

3. Multiple endings.

Theme: Protecting the ocean is everyone's responsibility.
