The Straight Detective Wants to Confess

In Tokyo's Metropolitan Police Department, the truly outstanding officer Tachibana made chief inspector at a young age through the career-track program. With countless achievements to her name, she was the role model and idol of countless female officers.

But only Hagiwara Kenji, her childhood friend, knew what she was really like. She was incredibly dependable, yet despite the fact that they'd grown up together and knew each other inside out, she'd had a crush on his older sister for four whole years.

And still she hadn't dared to confess!

It had worried him for so long! Nana didn't dare confess until college!

Matsuda Jinpei had something to say about that: As her childhood friend and former rival in love, when you meet someone you like, you step on the gas and chase after her!

How could anyone be even more afraid to confess just because their rival had been rejected? Shouldn't that give them more confidence?! What an idiot!

As for the person in question, Officer Tachibana said: She'd been incredibly brave! The day she confessed, she went for it with all her heart, and she succeeded on the first try. She did much better than a certain curly-haired idiot!

Matsuda Jinpei: "..."

Hagiwara Chihaya thought her girlfriend was adorable. More than ten years ago, when she'd rescued that little girl from the river, she'd thought of her as a younger sister.

But now, held tightly in Nana's arms, Chihaya was wrapped in the firm embrace of a body that could no longer be called a child's. The sharp scent of blood filled her nostrils.

Nana had saved her life.

For the first time, Hagiwara Chihaya fell for Tachibana Nana. Looking at the girl's flushed face as she blurted out her confession on impulse, Chihaya felt she had no reason to turn her down.

Because Nana was so adorable.

P.S. I want to write a yuri short story about Hagiwara Chihaya. Big sister is just too cool. It'll probably feel like that other girlfriend story of mine: mostly everyday romance, with a little plot and a sweet, fluffy vibe.
