When Kane awoke from a coma after an accident, his adjutant told him that he had been married for three years.

Kane was a little confused. "Oh? To which female Zerg?"

The adjutant was silent for a moment, then projected the stern face of Kane's nemesis, General Agar, on his terminal. "To him."

Kane: ...?

Agar had been secretly in love with Kane for years, but everyone said the two were "archenemies."

He had used every means at his disposal to marry Kane, dutifully fulfilled his role as the female husband, and never dared reveal too much of what he felt.

Then an accident happened, and Kane claimed to have lost his memory, conveniently forgetting everything about their marriage.

That was all right, Agar thought. Since Kane knew nothing, he could pursue him all over again.

Skin hunger? That seemed like a pretty good excuse.

Kane seemed to believe the diagnosis and let Agar get close under the pretext of treatment.

He went along with the physical contact, even asked to touch Agar, and would casually draw close to him before asking, "How does it feel? Want more?"

Agar pressed a hand to his thumping heart, feeling a little confused.

Why was Kane so practiced at saying the sort of things that made him blush?

On the night Feitz won the Interstellar Mecha League, he was surrounded by his fervent fans in the competitors' corridor.

Confetti was still drifting slowly down behind him, and his champion's medal gleamed on his chest. A young female Zerg competitor pushed to the front, her voice trembling with excitement. "Chief, if I make it onto the podium next year too, can I earn the right to confess my feelings to you?"

Feitz stopped. His gaze was deep, and in an instant he broke into a smile.

"I'm married," he said. "Don't ask again."

It was only a marriage arranged by their families, with no romantic feelings involved. But Kanepat was steady and reliable, an excellent partner, and Feitz was happy to give him the respect he deserved in moments like this.

The on-screen tip effects burst into a dazzling display. The three projections showing the live broadcast, data analysis, and communications with male Zerg were shut down one by one. Kanepat checked the time and stood up, ready to welcome his partner, who had just won the championship.

As a young tycoon who controlled the largest star-source mineral vein, Kanepat had always been reserved and composed in front of Feitz.

No one knew he was the top tipper in competitor Feitz's livestream, a mysterious user who sent an astonishing number of gifts and called himself "Lord Feitz's one and only partner."

He used his financial clout to suppress all the chatter about "male Zerg not belonging in mecha," while personally banning every account that posted explicit declarations of love to Feitz in the livestream.

Only he had the right to pour out those burning words to his male spouse.

It seemed Feitz had discovered his female husband's secret.

With a smile, he opened the chat with the top tipper in his livestream and sent a photo of his hand wearing a fingerless glove.

"Want it?" He sent a voice message. "Come see me."

A moment later, Kanepat hurried through the door. "Male spouse, don't send photos to strangers so casually..."

Feitz spun halfway around in his chair and looked up at him with a smile.

"You got here fast, Kanepat."

"Tell me, did you want it that badly?"
