With Emperor Huizong as My Dad, Rebellion Is My Only Option

Good news: She died unexpectedly and was reborn as a princess in ancient times.

Bad news: Her father was Zhao Ji, and her brothers were Zhao Huan and Zhao Gou.

Remembering the Jingkang Humiliation, Zhao Man felt as if the sky had fallen.

Everyone knew that Emperor Huizong of Song and his sons were three spineless emperors. Zhao Ji and his two precious boys had split the Song Dynasty in two.

The Jin army's invasion brought endless killing and plunder, devastating the northern economy. The silk, porcelain, and smelting industries ground to a halt amid the war. The people suffered, and countless families were displaced. The once-prosperous capital was reduced to ruins. Countless members of the royal family, imperial consorts, and officials were also forced north as captives of the Jin, stripped of their freedom and dignity.

Zhao Man clenched her fists. It was better to rely on herself than on Heaven or Earth. She would put the Song Dynasty back on its feet.

As Zhao Man reclaimed the lost lands and defeated the Jin army, the civil and military officials of the Song Dynasty realized that compared with securing the realm forever and recovering the Sixteen Prefectures of Yanyun... the emperor being a woman was a trivial matter.

As for the two emperors, Huizong and Qinzong, living in Jin territory, they might as well be considered dead... In fact, many people would have preferred them dead. That was still better than being captured by the Jin.

Most of my previous stories were about devoted fathers, so I want to try writing a rotten father and rotten brothers this time. The blurb is a little rough and may be revised before the story begins.

Theme: My fate is mine to command, not Heaven's.
