The Sky Screen Says I'm the Third Strongest in the World

“So you're saying the spiritual qi revival and the era of universal power sequences are about to begin, and I'll be ranked third in the world in combat power?”

Lu Yunche slowly typed out a question mark.

If he hadn't just seen the other person's official credentials, Lu Yunche would have thought the person in front of him was joking. The sort of joke that could only fool a child.

“You mean the third strongest in the world, me?”

Lu Yunche pointed at himself, looking utterly dazed.

You've got to be kidding. The first twenty years of his life had been utterly ordinary. Aside from starting out as an orphan, nothing about him fit the protagonist mold. Had the authorities got the wrong person?

“Yes, Mr. Lu. It is you.”

The official smiled warmly, speaking gently. “If you don't believe us, the sky screen appearing tomorrow will announce this news to the whole world.”

What? Not only was spiritual qi revival happening, but a light screen that spoiled the future was joining in too?!

Could this world get any worse?

And could things like this really be announced ahead of time? Tell me, they found aliens with their heavenly eye, didn't they?

“Not at all. A ‘Prophet’ foresaw the future, which is how we learned about it. No aliens are arriving, Mr. Lu,” the official said with a smile, dropping an astonishing revelation.

Lu Yunche's brain stopped working.

Ah, even a Prophet had appeared? That was worse than aliens arriving! Damn it!

Spiritual qi revival, a dark age, the arrival of the supernatural... Is it really okay to leave all this to an innocent, clueless college student like him?!
