Nothing will have a future, but at least there will still be hope. “My King, I hope you find happiness.” After Chaldea loses its doctor and observes a peculiar world, the story of Dr. Roman’s revival begins. [The Journey Continues] When he opened his eyes again, Dr. Roman was rather bewildered. He should have vanished completely in the Temple of Time. What was going on? Wasn’t he supposed to be heading into “nothingness”? The familiar surroundings, which looked like a clinic, could wait. Dr. Roman sensed a faint presence around him, reached into the shadows, and pulled out a Gaiti... cat? He and the Gaiti-meow, whose appearance now bore an uncanny resemblance to a creature scientifically known as a Siberian Forest Cat, stared at each other. Both wore the same bewildered look. But soon, the excessively shy (?) Gaiti-meow wriggled free and quickly slipped back into his shadow. Well, a good cat owner should give their own magical construct some space. Dr. Roman, being very much like a human, pretended not to notice the oddness of Gaiti-meow and began exploring the place instead. Wait, why could one clinic be called “Teitan Elementary School Nurse’s Office,” “Teiko Middle School Nurse’s Office,” and even “Teitan High School Nurse’s Office”? And wasn’t there something that looked like the characters “□□” appearing in the distance? Was this some kind of strange space-folding phenomenon? There was clearly something very, very wrong, but that wasn’t the biggest problem. The first patient he saw after taking over the peculiar clinic revealed a major issue. Not only had his Seventy-Two Demon Gods lost their memories, they were all itching to make a name for themselves in different worlds, acting according to their own natures! Dr. Roman... Dr. Roman, forced to work overtime in another world, fainted from the shock. [Deductive Science Detectives] “Are you sure you don’t want to make a contract with me? Would you like to become my accomplice?” At the start of the meeting between the Duke of Thieves and Kaitou Kid, Kuroba Kaito immediately went to beg his witch classmate to figure out a solution. He’d become a thief against his will. There was no way he wanted to be “like-minded” with a demon, damn it! There was also the immortal phoenix who appeared with the Black Organization, and rumors of the dead circulating through the city... The doctor is from that famous Heroic Spirit game. I just started playing and really like him, so I wanted to write a story about him. Although the game says the Demon God Pillars are just magical constructs, this story follows the legends.
