As a Member of the Owl Family

The Rengoku family, whose members have passed down Flame Breathing for generations, is one of the Demon Slayer Corps' most distinguished founding families. And yet, they produced the one-of-a-kind Rengoku Maki.

She is Senjuro's twin sister and the only one of the three siblings who looks like their mother.

The first person she ever pursued was the Master of the Demon Slayer Corps. Every time Shinjuro thinks about it, his vision goes dark.

But young Maki didn't think twice. On a whim, she put her life on the line to carry out her "plan" to marry Giyu, the person who saved her...

By the time she realized she needed to stop, it was too late.

Her embarrassing history is so well known that the first thing people she's "confessed to" often say when they greet her is, with a nostalgic look, "Remember how you said you'd be my bride when you were little?"

"When you were this small."

Stop! Don't say another word! Maki, all grown up, can't cover their mouths fast enough. There aren't enough cracks in the ground in the Demon Slayer Corps for her to hide in.

Kyojuro: "Come to think of it, didn't Maki say she wanted to marry me?"

Why does her big brother have to join in, too?

Unfortunately, these people are all incredibly strong, so even though she's mortified, she can't stop them. Every now and then, she can only seek out Tanjiro, her peer from Final Selection, to vent, then hold little Nezuko to soothe her mood.

Tanjiro listens patiently. "That means you have a wonderful relationship with everyone, Maki. I need to work harder, too."

I-Is that so? Maki wavers.

After surviving the battle with Upper Rank Three, all three of her peers became her older brother's Tsuguko.

The house got a lot noisier, but Maki figured she could put up with it if it meant she could hold little Nezuko often.

Tanjiro lowers his eyes. "So you're only happy that Nezuko came?"

"?" Maki looks up in confusion.

Reader's guide:

1. The heroine is a native of this world, with no golden finger. There are lots of everyday scenes, and I'll try to prevent deaths.

2. Tanjiro is the pairing. Avoid if it's not your thing.

3. At first, the girl is completely clueless and treats everyone she likes equally. The romance is one-on-one.

4. Sorry for any OOC.

5. I recommend not buying everything at once. If it's not to your taste, stop reading. Hope you all have a happy day.
